MUIRURI EDUCATION FUND.

Hello, everyone!
Kindly help us raise funds for a bright but needy boy, to enable him join high school.

Here is his story:

"His name is Muiruri. He comes from a family of 5, constiting of 3 kids: him,  a 9-yr old girl, and a ten month old baby. The boy's family lives in a myriad of challenges. The father has been bed ridden for sometime out of paralysis. The mother is the sole bread winner and many are times when she can't make to the menial casual jobs in the farms because of the burden of the husband and her little kid and is only left by an option of praying and preaching to comfort herself from the predicament she goes through. The family sometimes sleep on empty stomachs with the faith to see a brighter tomorrow. Kiamanyeki Primary School's (his immediate former school) headteacher had to waive school fees for the boy to enable him attend school. Muiruri had late registration for KCPE owing to challenges in acquiring his birth certificate. The mother says she cannot even guarantee  the very basic needs like food and medical care for the family leave alone Muiruri's fees for a day school. She says she has nothing, "I only have 2000 that Mr. Kenda (School's headteacher) gave me to buy my son shoes for school."

Due to the family's predicament, the mother is seriously considering making her son repeat class 8, with the hope that come next year, the boy will perform much better and qualify for Equity's Wings to Fly program.

However, it's our wish and prayer that we will raise enough money and make the boy's dream to join highschool a reality.

You can reach Madam Cecily, Muiruri' s teacher, mentor, and counselor  on +254-723-375302.
