HOPE worldwide Kenya (HWWK) is a Local faith-based not for profit organisation registered in 1999. We care about and work with youth, children and key populations.

One of the ways  HWWK serves children and youth is through a project dubbed 'Kenya Kids' which is a child sponsorship project that provides support to vulnerable and bright children to access high school education and transition to university.

We have support over 70 children and we want to do more due to effects of the COVID Pandemic that has affected many parents. This  fundraising campaign provides you with the opportunity to contribute to Children's freedom to education and fulffillment of their dreams.

Letters of Appeal

Tyson Okoth

My name is Tyson Okoth. I am 18 years old and currently in my second year of high school. I live in the Mukuru kwa Reuben informal settlements in Nairobi with my single mother. I have not been going to school since mid-term break because of the lack of school fees. My mother has been struggling to pay my school fees. She has now reached a point where she cannot manage anymore and I have been sent home. Although I am at home I have been working hard, and I promise if you give me this chance I will continue working hard in school. My dream is to be a doctor. If I achieve my dream, I would like to help children who want to learn but are held back because their parents cannot afford their school fees.

Thank you for your help.

Ann Lubongo Nyoteyo

I am Ann Lubongo Nyoteyo. I’m an 18-year-old high school graduate from Kereri Girls High School. I live in the Mukuru informal settlements in Nairobi, and I am meant to join Co-operative University. I had a mean grade of B- (minus) in my high school national examinations. My dream is to be able to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Finance. My parents are not able to support my dreams due to inadequate funds. I wish to be able to change the world by becoming a financial analyst. I hope to change the world’s economies for the better and help the community at large regardless of its crises. I hope my dream can one day become a reality.

Thank you in advance.

Naomi Nyatichi Nyagaka

My name is Naomi Nyatichi Nyagaka. I am an 18-year-old high school graduate. I sat for my high school national examinations this year and attained a mean grade of A- (minus). I got an admission to Daystar University but due to financial instability, I am still at home. My ambition is to become a nurse so that I can help the sick in the medical field. I would highly appreciate any support you could give me to join university so that I can make my dreams valid.
