About Us
Generation Guiders is a local registered grassroots Community Based Organization located in Kenya
The organization was registered with an aim to empower Adolescent Girls and women in rural area.
Generatio Guiders is a Member of International Youth Alliance for Family Planning (IYAFP), 120 Under 40 Global champions of family planning, End Child Marriage Network Kenya, (SDGs) Kenya Forum and Coalition for Adolescent Girls.
The organization intervenes on Girls child rights, HIV/Aids awareness, women empowerment project, Distribution of free Sanitary Pads to underprivileged girls, and Sexual Reproductive Health Services in the community.

When women and girls cannot afford proper sanitary products or do not have the information and facilities to use them correctly, it can put their health, education, and well-being at risk as they turn to unsafe substitutes such as rags, newspaper, and feathers.
Access to sanitary towels remains a critical challenge for many underprivileged girls in rural communities areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Kenya.
75 percent of underprivileged Adolescent girls in rural communities are unable to afford sanitary pads.
“Girls here end up having sex with men so that they can get money to buy pads. Some of my friends have even ended up pregnant just because they could not afford pads.”

In the midst of this pandemic, Generation Guiders is raising funds to provide sanitary pads to girls in rural communities who menstruates and are struggling during this pandemic peiod.
It takes just $12 USD per girl to get underwear and sanitary pads for the next 6 Month.
This Campaign for underprivileged Girls in rural communities seeks to give the girl child an equal chance to lead a fulfilled life during this period of COVID-19.
Adolescent girls in rural areas are faced with teenage pregnancies,and are highly exposed to infectious diseases like HIV/AIDS. 5.7% school girls get pregnant at the age of 15-19 in the rural communities.
With your donations, girls in rural communities will become more confident,will have a high self-esteem, and this will reduce shame about puberty and their bodies during this COVID-19 Pandemic
