#CoronaKindnessChallenge
Hi guys I've started a fundraiser on M-Changa to raise money for #CoronaKindnessChallenge

In March, the #coronakindnesschallenge was created on IG - the challenge was simple, buy 10 items (like bread, flour, etc.) and give them to 10 people in need - take a picture of the items (not the people) and tag 10 friends to do the same. The challenge quickly spread and soon people that weren't able to physically participate were reaching out to ask how they could be involved without needing to leave their homes. Donations began coming in and within about a week it had grown from 10 items to full bags of food being distributed with two people going out several times a week to give the bags to those in need. Just as it had started, it has continued to grow.
To date over 1,000 bags full of food have been distributed to those in need and on average each bag will feed a household of 2-3 adults and 3-4 children.
All donations go directly to purchasing food while other specific donations like bags, a staging area, tokens and more have been received.
We now have a team working together to establish tracking spreadsheets, purchasings, identifying key areas we can distribute to, working with the county to ensure we're following their new guidelines, packing & distributing the bags, coordinating receiving families & overall coordination efforts.
It's been amazing to see this grow and it's been amazing to see so many of you step in to help. Some have donated money, some donate time, some donate their skill sets and others donate by sharing our posts with friends and family.
Thank you for partnering with us to assist those in need, none of this would be possible without each one of you!
