Male teens exiting juveline prison often face stigma, rejection and face high risks of re-offending and going back to prison as hardened criminals. Lifesong Kenya seeks to address this by providing a Half Way House.
On November 21 to December 2, 2021, the Lifesong Kenya Team of volunteers plan to cycle from Lake Victoria to Lunga Lunga to raise Kshs. 5 million (US $50,000) to do achieve the f
buy land where we can start building our Half Way House. The 10 days cycling took us through a scenic route via Kisumu, Kericho, Nakuru, Nyeri, Meru, Sagana, Nairobi, Machakos, Wote, Mtito Ndei, Voi and Mombasa.
With your help, we'll be able to buy land where we can start building a safe house for male teens exiting prison and those who have faced abuse at home. During their stay, the boys will receive skills training and psychological support. Additionally, Lifesong Kenya will use the centre to sustain its future activities.
