Inua Kike (Women Rising) is a community-based organization in Nairobi, Kenya, founded as a vehicle for empowerment and social mobility for marginalized women through education, entrepreneurship, and community. We began operations in January of 2016 with our pilot program, Somesha Kike (Women Study), which seeks to support motivated women in informal settlements who did not complete high school through the entire process of studying, sitting for and successfully passing the exam for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
We ask your help in securing the funds needed to ensure that the 10 women in our 2019 program can sit for their KCSE this year.
