Alleviate Poverty.

Karl as he is popularly known, started his first year at APU an ambitious African student on a partial scholarship with big dreams of coming back home to break the cycle of poverty and become a role model to many families telling them that it is possible to get an education overseas against all odds. As much as College was exciting but challenging, Karl never struggled to fit in. He organised the African week that year as a fresher and was exited. In his second year the funding stopped and then he became increasingly distracted. As he approached his 3^rd year he almost gave up. Through God’s grace he stabilised because he was struggling to cope with the stresses that came with the high fee payment required by the University and it was impossible not to feel his suffering. Thanks to his many friends who offered him support, he managed to pull through and now we are on the last semester his 4th and final year!
