As part of his August vacation, Matthews Masinde was visiting his relatives in Nairobi. Unfortunately, he was hit by a speeding car and got seriously injured. Thanks to God! He was rushed to Gurunanak hospital, later to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, and is now hospitalized at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
He sustained some head injuries, which were treated succesfully. He also had a hip dislocation, which required surgery!
The good news is that he is recovering well.
As KFS class of 2010, I believe we stand for something special; we will always be there for one another. In this regard, we are calling on you to chip in something towards the hospital bill. The bill now stands at more than 100,000. But you just need to give what you have - 1 kenyan shilling will make a big difference.
