Cassava Transformation For Bungoma.

I am an agribusiness ambassador in Kenya and cassava transformation for Bungoma is my first of many projects aimed at:

1. Creating partnership between the national government, county government of Bungoma, private sector investors, research institutes and farmers. This will ensure farmers have access to low risk capital to start up, supply of certified fresh cassava roots, empowerment and protection from exploitation once the project sets off.

2. Ensure every small holder cassava farmer in Bungoma, youth and women has received training on change of mindset and make them see their importance in the cassava value chain, the need for land consolidation, current government policies on agriculture and finance management.

3. Marketing, distribution and value adding of cassava products in Kenya.
