WHO WE ARE;
Team of artists that use visual art (images or objects
in fields including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and fashion)
to represent reality and bring enlightenment. Through the ‘Give to Receive’ project
#GTR, we merge efforts to create a series of visual narratives that describe
the reasons why everyone needs to embrace themselves so as to achieve maximum
worth of themselves daily through the art of ‘something for something’.
‘Something for something’ in this case, has been used so as to emphasize on the relevance of
the sustainability of the project that seeks to provide visual art products for
offer with each donation made thus the mantra of the project Give To Receive
#GTR.
We are generally a team that includes the following members:
Isaac Yienya: Graphic designer.
Kevin Mwangi: Portrait specialist.
Teddy Muia: Social Media marketer.
Alice Ocharo: Public Relations.
GOAL:
We believe that there is nothing more powerful than
communication. Our goal is to foster empathy and connectivity through giving to
empower. We want to bridge gaps between individuals and communities worldwide
by giving everyone, everywhere a voice.
THE ‘GIVE TO RECEIVE’ PROJECT HAS FOUR DIFFERENT
CLUSTERS THAT HELP TO SELL ART PRODUCTS.
Donations made are all accepted regardless of the amount
however, the donors in the following categories will receive a token of appreciation
with the following details under each package:
CLUSTER A: For each donor to make contributions of Kshs
5000 mark they get a subscription of 6 months of
1. Custom branded t-shirt
(also inclusive of hand painted merchandise).
CLUSTER B: For a donor to make a contribution higher
than Kshs 10,000 mark they get a subscription of 2months:
1. Custom branded hand
painted mural.
CLUSTER C: For a donor to make a contribution higher
than Kshs 25,000 mark they get a subscription of 3 months:
1. Custom painted T-shirt.
2. Custom designed hand
painted Backpack.
3. A custom painted wall

CLUSTER D: For a donor to make contribution higher
than Kshs 50,000 mark they get a membership charter that allows to get the
above listed items in clusters A,B,C for a period of 12 months.
THE MONEY RAISED WILL BE USED TO:
Buy the equipment we need to create great content;
such as HD cameras.
Create our online presence by establishing a website with own domain.
Deliver the educational workshops (through events).

Not rely on advertising revenue.
Solidify our commitment to paying artists.
Create the time to focus on content.
Prove our project and concept is sound.
GUIDING LIGHT:
The #GTR Project has been inspired to prosperity by
the ‘Switch Africa Green’ movement a product of the United Nations Environment
Program (UNEP) that encourages green economy investment. The art products of
either clothing or paper are made using reusable material therefore promoting a
healthy environment for all to achieve economic growth that is sustainable,
inclusive and transformative.
